Hi! I’m Ale, better know around the web as MAIS2, an Italian illustrator currently based nowhere specifically. Practically a hobo.
I’m the creator of MEZZOLUME, a label under which she sell my books, art and create collections of items.

I loves to draw people and their emotions, silly stuff, food, eerie things, questionable fashion, miserable looking animals.
I also appear to be incapable of describing myself satisfactorily.

✨ Speaking more seriously about my skills thought:

I've been working in the art and illustration
industry for over 16 years now.
Besides working on many personal projects, I've had the
opportunity to apply my art to the following areas:

✸ DESIGN: I do (and LOVE doing) freelance work in
various aspects of graphic design and branding such as
packaging, mascottes design, logos, and icon design.

✸ VIDEO GAMES: I'm a senior level game artist with
expertise in character and concept design.
One of the things I enjoy most is simplifying illustrations
and getting the message across using limited colours and
small sizes.
I'm also skilled in a more organic, painterly style and have
applied it to many game developments.

✸ EDITORIAL: I love creating editorial art and spot
illustrations. Given that my first professional imprinting was
in comics, narration through images only and composition
are very natural to me.
Storyboarding is another area where I like to apply these
skills.

✸ PRODUCTS: I have my own product line and, since I've
self-published most of my books, I have a good grasp of
book design, colour management and hand lettering.
